Remote Monitoring, Air Pollution Control Equipment

Continuous monitoring is a relatively new concept used primarily where "ownership" of an existing piece of equipment or equipment train has been transferred to a third party subcontractor. SPE-AMEREX, in conjunction with partner integrators, offers a technical service option which includes the following services for PLC's serving baghouses, SDA's, ash handling and OEM's.

Emergency response to plant control equipment malfunction.
Regularly scheduled control system maintenance and back up via a remote internet connection.
Check of critical control loop tuning and adjustment, either on site or by remote internet connection.
Offsite maintenance of backup copies of software at our site.

General services include monthly system checks and review of all critical backups and controls. A typical program starts with a dedicated voicemail box in the SPE-Amerex system which automatically alerts a technician on the team with response times of immediate to 2 hours. This phone and mail system operates 24/7/365.

In addition, SPE-AMEREX will provide remote on line process control service in 24 hours or less, and if required an on-site visit response time of 24-72 hours if remote service does not resolve the problem. Any related problems with baghouse, SDA, lime stoker or other equipment will be routed to the SPE-AMEREX technician for that specific equipment and response time will also be 24 to 72 hours. Onsite visit costs are provided with all proposals and are fixed for the contract period.

All service activity, whether remote or on-site will be documented by a Service Call Report detailing the issue and its resolution.
