Dry Scrubbers

SPE-AMEREX offers both wet and dry solutions to acid gas removal problems. The dry systems are conservatively designed systems that combine spray dryers and fabrics filters to remove HCl, HF, and SO₂ without the need to dispose of wastewater associated with wet scrubber systems. These dry systems completely eliminate the initial capital, operation, and maintenance costs of the wastewater treatment equipment. These systems are custom designed to meet the specific needs of each project. We carefully consider initial capital costs as well as the reagent costs of the various alternatives to arrive at the best solution to your particular problem. Complexity of operation and maintenance costs are also carefully considered.
