Fabric Filters for Circulating Fluid Bed (CFB) Scrubbers
SPE-AMEREX has recently developed a patent pending pulse jet fabric filter for the demanding dust loading experienced with Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Scrubbers, which at 300 - 500 grains/scf, are typically 100 times higher than typical coal fired flyash loadings. Eight (8) meter bag designs with Intermediate Pressure pulse cleaning technology are employed, with baghouse compartments designed to provide for low updraft velocity to minimize ash entrainment to the bags with 100% on-line availability and on-line maintenance.
SPE-AMEREX has extensive commercial experience with high dust load applications, providing the basis for our robust baghouse design which allows for efficient collection of particulate while allowing collected material to be recycled back to the CFB scrubber. Our baghouse has a patent pending design that prevents build-up of accumulated particulate during compartment maintenance.
